I’m Indo-Caribbean and darker skinned and the only sunscreen that my skin has been able to tolerate is the Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer with SPF. It is the only sunscreen that hasn’t stung or irritated my skin. My PD was steroid-induced so I also haven’t had a flare up since stopping my steroid cream but my skin is very sensitive now and the only things that seem to work is Cetephil and the Toleriane line (a few items, mainly the moisturizers).

My very first product to combat this was La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer, Oil-Free Face Cream with Niacinamide,
which also has a Sunblocker and ceramicide.

It went on okay but after about 3 hours started to burn. Rinsed it off with cold water which triggered a flush.
So in this instance, should I try it again and wait until it starts to burn then rinse it off, or just not use it anymore?

Sounds like we’ve got the same thing, I have been diagnosed with both seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea, in that order.

(UK) Hi! I’m 19M, oily skin and have a blackheads problem.
I want to start a skincare routine and am going to buy this foaming cleanser and this moisturiser with SPF.
Because my skin’s so oily I’ve used an exfoliating facial wash (with this moisturiser) in the morning for a while to combat blackheads. I’m worried that my new routine will make this worse because I won’t be scrubbing them anymore, just going over with a cleanser. Any tips? Also are my two products okay for AM/PM – thinking I might need a separate PM moisturiser?
