What is the opinion of Reddit about the

I think for what you are trying to do, you would need a KVM switch, not a dock. Amazon has something that could help you out. This will allow you to hook up both your laptop and your desktop and allow them to share a monitor + your keyboard and mouse. Hopefully this helps, I’m no expert but my work uses them for the 3 damn computers at my desk.
