Not a fan of chicklet keys as I find the longer keytravel more satisfying/comfortable. Plus the tenkeyless (no numpad) allows my keyboard/mouse to take up less room on my desk.
This particular model is nice as it has dip switches on the back that let you control various settings. One of which they call “OSX mode” i.e. alt = command and windows key = option.

The keyboard is a KUL ES-87 and they go for $125 on Amazon, but it looks like only brown switches are available right now.
The keycap set is GMK Hydro that you would have to buy second hand and they go for about $200 for just the base kit, or $300 for base+novelties+spacebar kit.
The cable is likely custom made, probably from someone like u/90N1NE for approx $25.
So all in all low end we are talking $350. If you change out the switches or do anything fancy like lube or different springs then it goes even higher from there. The KUL ES-87 is considered a great “starter” keyboard. It is made out of plastic but has a nice solid and heavy feel due to a metal plate inside. Higher end cases are made from aluminum and go for upwards of $300-$800.
Edit: Added more info and links.

KUL ES-87 are sold with Cherry MX Clear, tenkeyless, and has an OSX mode, and are typically around $130. They are sold at MechanicalKeyboards.com and EliteKeyboards.com. Amazon has them as well, but only in Cherry MX Brown or Cherry MX Red.
You could snag a Poker 2 from Massdrop with Cherry MX Clear, but I’m unsure of true OSX compatibility.
But, seeing as this is your first mechanical keyboard purchase, are you certain about the Cherry MX Clear? Have you tried a switch tester/mechanical keyboard? Sound isn’t everything, the feel is important as well!

The fun part is making it your own as you said. Find something you like and enjoy!

I actually just picked it up from Amazon straight from Keyed Up Labs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI1ZAHY/

I like kul-es 87 really minimal and no logo or anything on the board which is really nice. https://www.amazon.com/ES-87-Tenkeyless-Mechanical-Keyboard-Cherry/dp/B00KI1ZAHY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1507415844&sr=8-1&keywords=kul+es-87

I would look at the KUL ES-87.

Full size or ten-keyless (TKL)? For TKL, the KUL-ES87 with the white case add-on is nice, I have it myself and it looks quite good. Here’s the keyboard with MX Browns, and here’s the white case you can get for it.
For a full size, there are white versions of the Ducky Shine 3 or 4, such as this one. I have a Ducky Shine 3 (black version with the white keycap set), very sturdy and clean design.
