Curtains are nice- but I have doubts about them giving much sound insulation. They just look like heavy drapes to me. A wall of full bookshelves backed w/ heavy duty felt carpet padding and secured to the shared wall would be your best bet. After that, I would go with getting large stretched canvases like the sort artists paint on, that go floor to ceiling. Glue or staple fleece along the frames where they’ll touch the wall, then fill the insides of the back of the canvas w/ the acoustic foam of your choice. Use drywall anchors and long screws to secure it to the wall (cut out spots where there are electrical outlets and just use ductape for covering the inside edge). Paint the canvas any color you want, and boom! Removable sound proofing! You’ll probably also want to put a brace behind your headboard and between the bed frame and the wall to reduce any banging/movement during activities (Krisler Adjustable Threaded Bed Frame Anti-Shake Tool, Headboard Stoppers, Bedside Headboards Prevent loosening Anti-Shake Fixer, Easy Install (30-112mm) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZQM2QX9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_R6YA9JFCW4H7B8HGDQ4V?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1).
Check your bedsprings and apply graphite powder to anything that’s rubbing. An extra rug on the floor adds more sound insulation too.
It also helps if you buy a solid core door and out weather stripping around the frame and under the door. It shouldn’t be too expensive, and you can hire a handyman or pay your building manager to install it.

On the one hand, why tf is Amazon advertising this to me? 🤨
On the other hand, Amazon thinks I’m having some pretty awesome sex… 🤷♂️
