I got a new pair of headphones, the Koss ProDJ100 and I really like them, but the cable comes out of the headphones on the left, and my computer is on my right. Having the cable go across my torso and in the way of my right arm is annoying. Outside of moving my PC to the other side of my desk (which would be a pain), what are my options? Ideally I’d want some kind of bracket I can screw to the underside of my desk that I can simply plug my headphones into.

I bought a new pair of headphones off of Amazon today, the Koss ProDJ100. I spent an hour trying to find a pair that weren’t excessively massive, absolutely hideous or exorbitantly expensive.
I also upgraded Windows on my desktop from 8.1 to 10 and in my opinion there’s no point upgrading to 10 just like there was no point upgrading to 8(.1). It feels like there’s a strange delay to everything. 10 still can’t mount my network drives properly.
Rocket League plays poorly on 10, every time anyone scores and the replay plays, the game locks up solid and my controller starts vibrating like it has Parkinsons. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete then switch back to the game and wait for the game to get back from 1 FPS back to 65FPS. Joining a game? Frame rate drops to 1FPS.
Now for something completely different. When I was in grade 8 (~2002-2003), my class and another went to the front of the school for something. Maybe it was a photo shoot. I don’t remember it’s not important. Anyways there was a girl wearing a very thin shirt and a girl in my class said something to the effect of “she may as well be walking around in her bra.” I didn’t say anything in reply because this girl was a bit of a bitch. But anyways lately I’ve noticed women wearing either extremely loose shirts or shirts with no backs to them. I don’t know where I’m going with this but I just wanted to share something I’ve noticed.

I’m currently using the Koss DJPRO100, and let me tell you, they’re great. I’m actually listening to Modestep with them right now. They’re comfortable, durable, and sound awesome. A bit pricey, but more than worth it. Other suggestions here are all valid though, Sennheiser/Sony/Audio-Technica etc are all great. But stay the HELL away from Skullcandies. You’re paying $30 extra for shitty headphones that happen to have graphics of skulls on them.

I have an extremely tentative budget of about $120 CAD (lowest is best) and I’m looking for a pair of headphones with a decent build and minimal noise leakage. I’m going to be using them for standard listening on my laptop and LG G4, often on my commute, so ANC would be a plus as well as Bluetooth. My main concern however is noise leakage as well as strong build and passable sound quality. I’ve never spent more than $30 on a pair of headphones to give some context with concerns to the quality I’m used to. I don’t have any specific music I’ll be listening to.
So how do these headphones do in that regard?
Sennheiser Over-Ear Wireless Headphones RS 160
H501 Active Noise Cancelling Over-ear Headphones
I’m leaning towards the H501 but I’m open to better headphones in this price range.

My brother is looking to get new headphones and I’ve done some research on the matter to best help him. That being said I still need some further guidance and advice. He initially wanted to get Skullcandy Heshs but I avoided those like the plague for good reason. Here is what I came up with as options. Any advice or preferences would be greatly appreciated.

I have these headphones. How do I keep the ear pads clean?
·
A couple of weeks ago I bought the Koss ProDJ100 headphones. I really like them except for the crazy long cable. For a microphone I use a shitty $2 Dynex desk mic.
·
Yeah, I dunno then, sorry. I haven’t even heard of either brand before, much less any feedback positive or negative.
For what it’s worth, when I bought my Sennheiser Momentums, I tried on 20+ headphones. I found the Koss ProDJ100 were surprisingly good, I almost thought about ditching my idea of getting the Momentums and getting those instead and saving a ton.

What do you think of these?

How can I tell if my current Koss Pro DJ100s are better than this combo?
·
Just out of budget, but take a look at the Koss Pro DJ100s, solid build quality, and great sound: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Koss-ProDJ100-Headphones/dp/B003X1BEKI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1436834185&sr=8-1&keywords=Koss+PRODJ+100

Hey, I saw your post over in /r/headphones. It pretty much sounds like you want these for music, in that case headphones would be much better than headsets (meant for gaming). I think many headphones are much better than ‘gaming’ headsets anyways.
In your other post you wrote looking for Full-Sized, over the earheadphones (I love those kind too!) and you specifically wanted something with Smooth Mids and a Roaring Bass.
I would suggest the Koss ProDJ100, Creative Aurvana Live!. My only sources are this headphone guide which is in the drop menu at the top left in /r/headphones and myself/what I like. 🙂

Found them for 75$ both on BBuy and Amazon
My other concern is that I would require a microphone as well which would jack the price up above my budget
·
Budget – $100
Source – Iphone 5
Requirements for Isolation – moderate isolation preferred
Preferred Type of Headphone – Full sized, on or over ear fine
Preferred tonal balance – Balanced.
Past headphones – AE1’s (don’t kill me)
Preferred Music – a lot of lo-fi acoustic songs, some punk, rock
Basically looking for the best sound in this price range, and I don’t really know too much about headphones. I’ll be wearing them out and about (walking on busy streets), and in the library
something like the Koss ProDJ100’s? ($72)
Or maybe the Sennheiser Momentum On-ears? ($90)
Shure SRH440 ($97)
Open to any suggestions!

I got mine on sale when they were like $35. They’ve been awesome.
