Koss PortaPro. These are an amazing sounding pair of headphones despite the 80’s look. Personally I use a set for PC gaming and haven’t found a better sound pair of headphones for under $100. I’ve tried Seinheisers and Kingston HyperX and the Koss sound better.
The only downside is no selector to mute, you need to push the button and hold it to mute. I find that I end up using the base mono PS4 headset because of the simplicity of slide to mute and the mic still sounds good.

At $75 that’s a solid buy for their connectivity and features. I thought you spent $300 on them at full MSRP or something.
Still, I’d recommend you check out a pair of Koss Porta Pro’s for console gaming. I have a pair that work really well with the audio+mic straight from my PS4 controller, and the sound is way better than it has any right to be. They’re $44 from Amazon and $37 on Massdrop.
It’s the best weirdest value in a headset I’ve ever tried. After that, move onwards and upwards to something like a SHP-9500 + modmic setup. That would give you a reason to bust out that Roccat Juke you stashed after you got the A50’s.

Highly regarded for it’s original price range of around $20. Not when newer models are pushing $100. They are comfy and portable, but do leak sound and let external sounds in.

How do these compare t the PortaPro KTC?
Curious if the mic is the same or better?
I love a KSC-75 with inline remote and mic.
