Hello, I’m new to mechanical keyboards and currently I’m using a Magicforce 68 with outemu browns. I’m a software developer and I’m using my keyboard for work. Today I realized arrow keys are too far to reach so I started considering another keyboard.
Since comfort is a factor to me, I looked around for split keyboards but I could find anything that wouldn’t break my bank. I found this on Amazon but had some not great reviews and still expensive. I’m not considering DIY atm because wiring soldering etc would be too difficult.
After that, I looked around for a keyboard layout that suits me better but couldn’t find anything that’s worth the money to upgrade from magicforce. Vortex cypher layout looks okay but currently not worth to me for just switching layouts.

EDIT: Oh yeah, keyboards. Main is a SmartYao LY092 Mini AKA Koolertron Split Keyboard. Its got Gateron Browns but I’m hoping to eventually put Kailh Navys in there. Numpad is this guy with Kailh white box switches. Nothing super boutique but they both suit my needs very well!

I mean… I bought this last month: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076FTKD6F/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If I don’t learn how to touch type on it it’ll be a complete waste of money, but I’m trying to prepare for working in VR. I have high hopes for VR workspaces.
I almost bought the tap too. I still may…

The whole keyboard is reprogrammable so you could make those extra keys whatever you like.
