I was wondering if anyone would notice! It’s my favorite DCS gadget, a programmable keypad. All my most commonly accessed keyboard presses (not on my HOTAS, like video cap, chat on/off, labels, active pause, etc.) are mapped onto the pad. It’s small enough that I can feel the right key without looking so it works even if you don’t look or are in VR. You can move the keycaps around and the black ones are taller than the white ones, so again, it’s very tactile. I love the little thing. Here’s a link to this one if you are interested: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RL6QBLZ/

Would something like this Koolertron work for you? I use a TKL and recently found myself needing a super functional numpad, after some looking around at different options I found this and bought it.

maybe this if not I am going to look around on r/MechanicalKeyboards since i seen some macro pads that look like what I wanted

Mechanically it wouldn’t be too difficult to DiY. It would be much more difficult to deal with electrical connections.
You could get a mini macro keyboard from somewhere like Knops and build a box for it to sit in. On the “lid” of the box, install your toggle switches and labels. Even those electrical ones would work, if you broke them open (bottom part) carefully. Then just extend the contact portion of the rocker down until it depresses the correct key.
Edit:
Seems Knops isn’t around anymore or just not working, so here is an example from Koolertron
