Klipsch RP-160M Walnut Bookshelf Speaker (Pair)?

For that budget, I would say start with an AVR and front left and right channel speakers first and get the best speakers you can find for the money. That will bring the most pleasing experience to your home theater. A center channel speaker is nice, but if you have good enough front speakers, you will not need a center right away. Same goes for the sub. A sub is absolutely great and an essential piece to any home theater, but with a good set of speakers, you may feel you won’t need a sub right away either. Floor standers would be the best option if you can find some good ones in your price range, but bookshelf speakers will do as well. I suggest picking up a pair of Klipsch RP-160M’s for about $384-439 a pair on Amazon and a Denon AVR-S540BT from A4L for $140.
