Absolutely. Kinesis Advantage keyboard. Saved my career: https://www.amazon.com/Kinesis-Advantage2-Ergonomic-Keyboard-KB600LFQ/dp/B07K1SMRGS/ref=asc_df_B07K1SMRGS/
Other things I do that my physical therapist said:
– Get up every 30min and walk for 5min. It’s actually pretty great, I love that one.
hand stretches 3x day (YouTube them)
left handed ergo mouse. Don’t use the laptop’s mouse pad, and don’t use a normal mouse. Ergo means basically vertical. Left hand because it’s not your dominant, so do right hand if you’re a lefty.
My personal biggest help:
– smaller phone. We hold this thing all the time, I get the most pain from holding a big phone.

I wish I had an answer for you. This post is exactly what I am struggling to figure out with my rheumatologist!. The tendinitis is everywhere.
One thing you can try that helped me was getting a new keyboard and mouse. I had to try 2 different mouse options to get one that helped. I have the tower kind. My hand is sideways. It keeps my wrist straight. The biggest help was the new keyboard. They learning curve is high with it, so if your job requires speed typing it maybe tricky at first. This keyboard let me keep working. [Kinesiology Advantage ](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07K1SMRGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_25HK5FNSHFF9Q31S3CK4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=id.p
I hope your rheumatologist can help you.

I developed brutal RSI in both wrists to the point where the movement of brushing my teeth hurt.
I found this keyboard and have been using it (and its replacements) for over twenty years. I am a professional writer and I’m on the computer all day. This has absolutely kept me out of surgery. Kinesis Advantage Pro

Equally important is my Wacom 6″ x 9″ pen tablet set to “mouse mode.” It’s like using a pencil and removes all the strain.

They still make this exact keyboard, of course with a more modern look.
But overall the design is exactly the same.

Another long term project idea.
This guy (blog post link below) here upgraded his alphasmart with mechanical keys. Would there be a way to do something similar but also alter the keyboard layout a little bit. I essentially would want to be able to press the “enter” key with my right thumb (see kinesis advantage 2, second link)
