Hey! Just wanted to let you know that Automod has removed your comment because it contains an Amazon referral link, which we don’t allow in the sub.

Could you please edit the URL so that everything from (and including) “tag=” is removed? That way, the product page will still be visible – but no one can make a profit from the link. Here’s the tag free link for an easy copy & paste: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HDU7F4O/

If you’ve done that, please reply to this message so I can approve your comment 😀

I’d also like to answer your question if that’s okay! Just because a product is not in the wiki does not mean that it’s a bad product. There are so, so many skincare products out there, and the vast majority are perfectly fine. The recommendations in the wiki just cover the most popular and well reviewed ones. Blind spots could come from a brand being rather small, or not talked about on reddit, or what have you – it’s not necessarily a bad thing at all!

What I do for brands I haven’t heard of is try to track down some reviews, preferably ones that aren’t on the amazon product page since amazon reviews can be paid, biased, or simply from people who don’t necessarily have much experience in skincare. I also like to check the ingredients on skincarisma and incidecoder to see if there’s anything that stands out as being particularly harsh. Since this is a cleanser, I might also check Lab Muffin’s list of harsh cleansing ingredients and avoid the product if it contains a harsh cleansing agent.

Ideally that will give you a strong yes or no on the product, but sometimes it doesn’t! In that case, flip a coin 😉 So much of skincare is trial and error, and there’s nothing wrong with giving it a go!

But hopefully someone in the thread has tried this product (KidSkin Cleanser for anyone reading), so let me know once you’ve updated the link and I can approve your comment for others to read 😀
