Can make it cheaper and faster with the following changes:
- RAM – like everyone said, CL16 can boost FPS by a little bit. Ballistix is a reliable kit.
- SSD – way overpriced, as with most Samsung SSD’s. The HP EX950 will give you very similar performance for $50 less.
- Case – The Meshify 2 is a long boi by itself. The Compact is a more regular-sized mid-tower.
- PSU – no need for 850W here, even if you’re overclocking.
- Primary monitor – I swapped them out for a primary and a secondary since you wouldn’t be gaming on the secondary monitor. The Gigabyte M27Q is much better than the ASUS TUF because of the significantly better visual quality out of the box. Plus, it’s cheaper.
- Secondary monitor – I went with a regular 1440p IPS panel. I’d mount these two on a dual monitor arm for a cleaner desk and to align the heights.
- For the keyboard, the K68 is fine but Corsair’s quality is meh compared to some other options out there. I’d consider the Keychron K4 or the RK68 if you’re willing to cut the numpad. You can also consider the Kingston HyperX Alloy Origins in Red switches or tactile Aqua switches for better quality.
