I personally like IOgear ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KGLC4Y1 ). I swear by them. It allows keyboard and monitor to switch but NOT USB and sound. So you can hear your team message beep, while you are on your personal home computer.

Having hot keys (which the one you linked does has) is a really great feature.

It is tough to say what what reviews are really good and bad. The expectation of people buying things like this on Amazon are some times beyond reasonable. I think it could be good or bad. Tough to say.

I would suggest you go with HDMI or Displayport and just convert it. My main KVM is DVI (Dual-link DVI) and it is a dead end path. I am considering upgrading to displayport (the best option in my opinion)

Free returns on Amazon is a worry free way to go.

Basically the current Obsidian specs. I got the X299X DESIGNARE 10G instead since it has Thunderbolt and 2 10 G Ethernet ports.

We got RTX Titans, which probably was a waste of money, but trying to get 3080s turned out to be a nightmare. The first one was DOA opened box. The second one never shipped, their excuse was a Chinese warehouse explosion… Everything else looked like a scam or was out of stock.

But the system seems to handle everything we’ve thrown at it. We ended up using this dual-screen KVM which is working very well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KGLC4Y1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The rack mounts are these guys which are nothing short of awesome: https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=921&area=en

In reading your comment again, it appears I have misunderstood your request. If you are looking just to share a kayboard/mouse between your computers, then the software I mentioned would help. But if you’re actually looking to share the monitors as well, that indeed would require a physical switch of some sort.

This switch seems to check all your boxes, and has good reviews on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-2-Port-DisplayPort-Cable-Switch/dp/B07KGLC4Y1/ref=pd_cp_23_4/130-8631219-0892946?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B076ZDQDN4&pd_rd_r=135c2ae3-e32a-4692-8730-1f6d67e930b7&pd_rd_w=J1WzQ&pd_rd_wg=EeZun&pf_rd_p=ef4dc990-a9ca-4945-ae0b-f8d549198ed6&pf_rd_r=3QAZCQZ8CT7X613NHS4Z&refRID=3QAZCQZ8CT7X613NHS4Z&th=1
