Top 3 foods for cold days in NYC:

  • Sichuan hotpot
  • Soondubu
  • Udon from Raku

Finally recovered from the MCL tear and back to running around and ultimate after more than 3 months of no cardio. Getting back into competitive shape is going to suck but I have all winter to do it.

Started a new skincare routine cause the cold is killing me and have been getting good results already. Korean beauty products are no joke. Door(wo)man asked if I went on vacation cause my skin looked glowing.

It’s gonna be a good winter.

For the routine, I’m doing 6-7 steps. Links to products, no affiliates. You can probably find them cheaper on Amazon or something. My skin tends to be quite dry during the winter months and without a routine, I get visible dry skin patches on my cheeks. I’m not particularly acne prone but I do break out every few weeks, usually after drinking too much or eating too many oily foods. I follow Liah Yooh, a skincare YouTuber and she is really educational, explaining the science behind skincare as well as testing products.

  • 1 – Cleanse – Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser – $20
  • 2 – Exfoliate – Kiehl’s Pineapple Papaya Facial Scrub – $28
  • 3 – Toner – Klair’s Supple Preparation Facial Toner – $22
  • 4 – Serum – I’m From Ginseng Serum – $30
  • 5 – Moisturize (Day) – Tidal Brightening Cream – $65
  • 6 – Sunscreen (Day) – EltaMD SPF 41 Tinted Sunscreen – $30
  • 5 – Moisturize (Night) – Huxley Antigravity Cream – $30

I also use a Papa Recipe Honey Mask – $20 once or twice a week or so in place of the moisturizing step. It seems like a lot but honestly if you just loop into your showering routine it only adds like 5 minutes or so.
