I have one of these hyperchillers that I think will be perfect for what you’re looking for. It’s a stainless steel chamber with ice on either side, so it chills your drink without diluting it. I use it daily to make iced coffee, but I’ve also poured wine through it to chill it and I’ve made swirled drinks in it that pour out ice cold. I love it for sure.

Well worth the $25 IMO HyperChiller Maxi-Matic Patented Instant Coffee/Beverage Cooler, Ready in One Minute, Reusable for Iced Tea, Wine, Spirits, Alcohol, Juice, 12.5 Oz, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJ6J24R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_GPKTH7VZ96VAT5ZJS3TK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I’m new to this sub and find the lack of shilling for the hyper chiller to be surprising. I got it as a gift and it’s what got me really into coffee because I can make easy and strong iced lattes with it. To be honest I didn’t even know what Japanese Iced Coffee is until I read this post. Would using this hyper chiller fall under that category? I brew with an aeropress directly into it.

Do you mean to make the cans cold? It’s usually in the fridge section I believe.

Or do you mean you want to make cuban style coffee at home and make that cold without dilution? If you are making a big enough batch (a full batch from the typical 6-cup moka pot would be enough), then you could pour the brewed coffee into a HyperChiller while you beat the sugar. How well the sugar paste will mix into the cold coffee, I’m not sure though. Another thought would be to use a cocktail shaker, pre-chilled, fill with ice, and add the already-combined coffee+sugar paste; this wouldn’t be too different than cocktails with a lot of sugar in them and if you shake vigorously enough it might even help make more foam. It’s a quick add-shake-strain out so there shouldn’t be too much dilution. I haven’t tested either of these, but at least there’s a couple ideas for you to try.

Edit: You could also try making a strong cold brew and using that for the whole process; though I’m not sure how far off it would taste. Just another thought to throw into the mix since it would already be chilled and would be nice and quick.

My spouse bought this thing and I mix the shot with milk and then use that to cool it down. It’s surprisingly effective tbh I get ice cold without any dilution.

I brew a double shot and chill in this for like 60 seconds:
