I got this one; I did a patch test on my wrist first with no reaction and then under my chin with no negative reaction. When I used it on the rest of my face it felt fine (and my skin felt so soft!) and I waited about 10 minutes or so before following up with the Pond’s Rejuveness which is when it started stinging a little.

I have read that the serum I got has a couple of things that people sometimes react to (horsetail and something else) but when I used it this morning, followed by moisturizer and sunscreen, there wasn’t any stinging. And my face is looking noticeably better than usual imo! Usually by the end of the day after work most of my makeup has worn off and my skin is back to looking sad/old/dull but I look (imo) better than usual tonight!

If you feel like you are having issues with wrinkles at your age, you might have dry skin. Exfoliator, moisturizer, and sunblock would be great friends to have; I really wish I had started earlier.

Have you considered trying a serum with Vitamin C & E? As I understand, C is supposed to help with the appearance of skin & E is supposed to help with the actual texture. I use a serum by InstaNatural that I really like, but my friend who has been into skincare for years has recommended this product to me.

I have only been doing this for a few months and still trying to perfect my routine, but thought I’d chime in with a few things I have learned!

Unless you put on heavy make up, an oil cleanser will probably be sufficient enough that you will not need make-up remover. I use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and I like it, plus it’s cheap. I am also not saying you shouldn’t try Biore Aqua Rich Watery sunscreen, but I’d recommend patch testing! It seems like I have a similar skin type to you and it made me breakout in whiteheads. Also if you decide to use Missha FTE I don’t think you’d necessarily need a toner.

I don’t really do acids for treatment, I don’t think at this stage my face needs it. However, I feel like Vitamin C has really made a different in my skin, it looks so much brighter and fine lines less noticeable. I have been using InstaNatural 20% and I really like it. My friend that has been doing skincare for years recommended this Vitamin C & E product to me and her skin game is “on point”.

I used Instanatural, but not that particular serum. It was way too harsh for my face unfortunately. I have a friend that swears by Amara Organics though.
