[](/sgpopcorn) This Huion H1060P. I’ve heard good things about them before, and it’s fairly inexpensive and very spacious. I’m not much of a judge but it seems to be working pretty smoothly so far.

I have been drawing for about three years and have a lot of friends that have been drawing digitally much longer than me. So I have some advice! The iPad is obviously a favorite but pricey. I think it’s better as a future upgrade than a starter. I personally have been using my huion for three years now and it has served me faithfully, is very hardy when it comes to travel or being dropped (I’m an out of state college student). I went for huion because while many of my friends had wacoms, Wacom is more expensive due to the brand recognition and many of my friends have had complications with them as they age past a year or two. There are cheaper huions than mine also on amazon that I recommend checking out since they may vary in size or reviewers may prefer one over the other!
Edit: also for an art program to draw in, clip studio paint is cheap and frequently on sale at half price. There are also some good free ones like Krita that are a great start and can take your girl a long way as she continues to draw!
