I will second a lap desk. I use mine all of the time to write in bed. I have this model:

I also recommend a reading pillow if you get a lap desk. It makes writing in bed super comfortable.

I’d potentially be interested in some sort of FIT desk as well, but as others stated not sure how reasonable that is.

It isn’t a 1 to 1 but it is close enough. I don’t even put my mac on a pillow or lap itself.
