Wow the Steelseries gGv2 looks amazing. Makes me want to get it…but for $100 for a keyboard, does it really makes a difference for playing Starcraft in terms of feel/response time? I’ve been playing Starcraft using the HP Wireless Elite Keyboard, this one: http://www.amazon.com/HP-FQ480AA-ABA-Wireless-Keyboard/dp/B001IOHAVO

I’m not sure what’s the major difference in terms of touch between a “light” keyboard like the one I’ve been using (pretty much similar to laptop keyboards) VS something lilke the Steelseries keyboard that seems way more sturdy in terms of gaming. I have not used a mechanical keyboard for gaming for a long time.

I still remember how utterly disappointed I was after a few minutes of typing on it and realizing it was just unusable. Unless you absolutely need to carry a keyboard rolled up in your pocket for some reason, avoid this at all costs.

On a related note, I just replaced my old mouse and keyboard with these: Logitech Wireless Anywhere MX mouse, and the HP wireless Elite Keyboard, and I’m very happy with both of them.
