I need some /r/audiophile help with something I feel should be simple, but I’m having a hard time with it. Simply put, I need new computer speakers. I spent all of this time building a computer that I absolutely love. Bad part? I neglected the speaker situation. It’s now a pain, as I get a lot of distortion from interference.

Current Speakers: http://www.amazon.com/HP-LCD-Speaker-Bar-black/dp/B002HKIKDK (I’m so very sorry)

I’m stuck between three choices:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051WAM64 M-Audio AV-40 – I have the AV30, purchased in 2011 and still in use with a Mac mini, so I figured the 40 is just the same but more capable and bigger)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DQMJE7E – Audioengines A2+ – These also looked like they had great reviews

http://www.amazon.com/Bowers-Wilkins-MM-1-Hi-Fi-Speakers/dp/B003R6U6HG – These have great reviews and what seems like a built-in DAC. Plus they’re super modern in their design, and that gets me a little excited for them.

What do you guys recommend?
