Well ok, but I don’t think I have a something that fits this contest quite well. This Face Wash does make my skin feel pretty if that counts lol. ( u/So_Appalled_ thanks for tagging)

I came across a YouTube video that gave a fab way of using glycerine on the body.
Take a foaming bottle. (like the CONTAINER of the Himalaya Herbals Foaming Face wash )
And fill it with half glycerine and half water/watery toner. And apply the light foam all over the body on damp skin after a shower. Let it dry off, then if you wish, seal off with a lotion or oil.
Glycerine worked wonders when I was suffering from itchy eczematic skin on my legs. When nothing else, no cream or lotion, was working.
I can see some comments shitting on glycerine because a lot of products already contain glycerine, but let me tell you why straight glycerine is better.
1) The concentration of a certain ingredient matters. A LOT. Most skin care products have glycerine in small quantities, and that too mixed with a bunch of other actives or ingredients. Such that the action of glycerine might get diluted and not reach the skin as desired.
2) often products might use glycerine not because of its property as a humectant, but because it helps the product get to a certain level of cosmetic elegance, ie, making the product’s texture smooth and marketable. Again, it comes down to low amounts of glycerine that would not be sufficient to moisturise the skin.
I’d say, YMMV. If you find a lotion that works better, then no need to add another step in your routine. But because of how good it was to my itchy skin, I’d recommend everyone to try it once.
