I’ve been lifting for about a year and started to use a belt for my top conventional deadlift set about 2 weeks ago.
I’ve tried placing the belt higher and lower position but no matter what I do it doesn’t feel like I can get in the right position nor get enough air to brace my core.
My set up is putting my belt on, walking up to the bar, bending over to get my hands in position, breath in a big gulp of air, get my hips in position, get everything tight, and lift.
Does anyone have any tips or can point me in the right direction?
