What is the opinion of Reddit about the
HAVIT RGB Backlit Wired Membrane Gaming Keyboard, Mechanical-Similar Typing/Gaming Experience (RGB Color)?

If you’re referring to this one, my only concern is that this keyboard is a membrane keyboard. Not mechanical. 🙁

I really think you’ve convinced me to go for the K70 brown switches on my next paycheck.

I’ve got this keyboard, but it’s very loud, no RGB, the keys don’t have the same force required to depress, and the tab key always sticks. Needless to say, this keyboard I will be returning.

I am also in college and I’ve got a girlfriend who is always hanging around my place, so your anecdote just tipped me over the edge on this purchase.

A few more questions. Are the o-rings really worth it for sound dampening? Does it hamper the keys/typing experience at all? Worth 15$? Do they interfere with the RGB, and if so, should I get the black or white ones?

On the Amazon product page, it says “mechanical similar typing/gaming experience”. So, no. 🙁 Also, the reviews say that they’re membrane.

Its a Havit keyboard. Ita nice keyboard if you don’t have the money for the expensive keyboards. I been using it for a year and it been amazing.
