To clear up any confusion, this appears to be RAINBOW lighting, NOT RGB. The difference is in the picture- one LED color, but each row has a different color. there’s a board brand on amazon that gimmicks people with this very idea: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014SHAGVI?psc=1

as you can see the row color is mostly the same except the bottom 2.

I use this. It feels great and looks good. I like the more compact size too, meaning no extra fluff around the edges.

You can look at chinese knockoffs. They emulate blue switch (They are not legit cherry MX tho) and poeple seem to like them.

There is a shitload of these, just look around.

Yes, you can get a better keyboard. I would highly recommend this

Your total will then come to roughly 5-10 dollars over your budget of $1,500 after shipping+tax but it’s the best I could do. It’s not worth slashing another item and replacing it with something cheaper.

Hey guys I have this keyboard and one of the key caps broke. I’m not interested in getting a whole new set of keys so can someone tell me what family the key caps are, the profile, and if any mx cherry key cap is compatible?

Here’s a great deal on a mechanical keyboard if you are interested in that. http://www.amazon.com/HV-KB366L-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B014SHAGVI

Otherwise, I’d look at reviews on membrane gaming keyboards, I don’t have any particular recommendations and I’m on mobile so going through reviews is a bit hard. There’s also usually good peripherals on /r/buildapcsales.

Got one of these off Amazon for like 70 bucks. Blue switches, nice led lighting, good feel to it. It’s Chinese, which was a bit worrisome as far as quality goes, but it’s actually really well built and seems very durable.

Anyway, I really like it and the cost is really good for a decent rgb mechanical

I got this for $56 on black friday. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014SHAGVI

Very heavy. Pretty solid feeling for such a cheap board. RGB control isn’t that great. Blue switches very clicky.

Saving it as a spare for someone breaks their keyboard.

I’d buy it if I needed a full size clicky board for cheap. I wouldn’t buy it for the RGB backlighting. I does look nice in single color modes.

idk bud, but I wouldn’t recommend getting the chroma, don’t get me wrong its a nice keyboard but the price tag on that….hmmmm

In just saying there are just as nice keyboards out there with the same quality, just doesn’t show the OW logo or the Razor logo.

I have a nice keyboard coming in the mail today, got it on cyber monday for $55 bucks. It’ll get the job done. But hey if you have the money for it go for it. On the razor page (i forget) I read that it would be “coming soon” no set date as of yet

Here’s a few things to look at:

  1. full size keyboards (with side numpad)

  2. 71 key (a bit smaller, no side keypad)

  3. 60% key (really small, probably a little too small if you want medium size, but I figured I’d throw it out there.)

The anne pro is the keyboard I’m currently using. It’s a little bit over your budget but it’s amazing. Really well built, has bluetooth, a ton of different RGB modes and customizations, and it’s small and will easily fit on any desk.

Here’s an RGB option with MX blues for just a tad more.

Thoughts on these keyboards? Prices seem nice but I wonder if they’re any good?
