actually I found a great way to play this game and sit back as far as you want. I have a little hand keyboard for my pc; a little usb dongle just plugs in.

I actually just played for two hours AND cleaned my house 🙂

Feel free to recommend this to others.

As I mentioned earlier, if you think of my partner and I as a single 40 hour per week employee, we’re making almost exactly the US median individual income (2012 is the most recent data I see). Self employment taxes take a bite, but it’s still real money that we’re making.

WRT my camera setup, I’ll past this from a PM from yesterday:

>I’m running Entangle on Ubuntu Linux on an underpowered netbook. This is tethered to a 5MP Canon point and shoot via USB. You can buy these cameras all day for $30 on ebay but check for compatibility with Entangle first. From Entangle I can see what the camera see, control zoom, configure options and snap the picture.

>The camera is mounted to a knock-off gorilla pod that’s wrapped around an improvised crossbar (shower curtain rod and shelving parts). It was slipping so I wrapped some of the grippy shelf liner around it and wrapped the gorillapod to it. Now it holds well. It’s a few feet over my table, probably less than 6.

>Vibration was an issue, so I picked up one of these so I could fire the camera without touching the keys on the shelf it was eventually supported by.

I mentioned storage space is our main constraint; we’ve definitely had to limit sourcing because of this.

Assuming you mean the first 10 working days, that’s 200 items in about 80 hours, or about 24 minutes per item to source, clean, photo, research and list while also doing shipping an customer service. Do I have that right? If you took out the sourcing, I could see that. I’m at about 13 minutes per item to clean, photo, record details about and ultimately ship, but a tricky item can skew that significantly.
