I don’t have an exact model for under $200. We had a small room for our room that was like $40? Which it helped, but not enough. So, in the last 2 months we bought and have been using the one below to filter for the entire apartment. (Made sure to check the square footage) . Works amazing. Would definitely recommend the brand, Hathaspace, and I know that they sell stuff in your price range.
Going to recommend one more product: HEPA filters for air vents. Don’t have a brand for this You just unscrew the vent, put the filter in, screw the vent back on, and change every 2 months. This also helps immensely. They’re also super cheap.

My experience with it: A good portion of my issues just went away and this happening became especially noticeable after 3 weeks. (Though, everybody is different and there could be lots of different things triggering your body to react.) We live in an apartment and everything from other units/the hallway (like cheap pot and incense and cleaning chemicals) would come into our unit. The pot was the worst for me and caused issues for everyone in the house. Migraines improved and so did a lot of the other medical issues I was dealing with. My face doesn’t get flushed and prickly every time my neighbors smoke. All the air cycles in like 2 hours, which actually translates to “give the machine an hour and you won’t notice anything anymore.” But at this point it’s always running so nothing really gets a chance to build up. Everyone in my house is doing much better because of this.
