Thanks for the feedback! funnily enough I, this is also the white LED varient, it’s just the lighting that gives it that blue look. The keycaps used are a cheap no name brand that can be found almost anywhere, the place I bought them from was Amazon, but that can also be found on eBay and AliExpress. Here’s a link to the page I bought mine from: https://www.amazon.com/Keycaps-Doubleshot-Switches-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B077Q75JZ4/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540665689&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Happy+Balls&dpPl=1&dpID=51liQTeB0JL&ref=plSrch
Glad you like it.

Ordered this set from Amazon for my Pok3r: PBT Keycaps Backlit 109Key Set… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077Q75JZ4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Everything is great but the space bar pops off the stabilizer on the opposite side where it’s pressed. Doesn’t happen with stock Vortex caps. Is there anything I can do or did I get a poorly made space bar keycap?

Logitech G610 Orion Red KB
I’ve just purchased a full keycap set in doubleshot PBT cherry. I am very happy with the look and feel of the caps, although the some of the caps don’t fit

*capslock
*spacebar (6u)
*right shift key (fits spacing but not the stabalizers)
*both control caps don’t fit (1.5u CTRLs (2))

I don’t know what I should do, as the price of the set was VERY reasonable, but everything just doesn’t match. Is there some way I can get individual keycaps?

My dude.

This is the kit I have. As /u/qbism_ mentioned, it’s an inexpensive kit from Amazon.

Yes! $30 PBTs from Amazon. They’re not amazing, but like I said, better than stock by far.

This is what I would do:

Buy a white ice GMMK Full sized keyboard: https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/the-glorious-gmmk-full-size-pre-built-white

It looks like the board comes prebuilt with gat browns, which are a tactile switch, so not quite as loud as blue switches. You can try to contact GMMK and see if they will swap them. If not and if blue are a must: https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/gateron-switches

The keycaps that come with the GMMK don’t quite fit your criteria. These are an option if you want: https://www.amazon.com/Keycaps-Doubleshot-Switches-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B077Q75JZ4/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=white+and+grey+keycaps&qid=1610347386&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyN0tOMlM2SFRTQ0lDJm…

Oh dear. That was my first build and tbh I don’t think I can find everything but I’ll do my best. It also has undergone 2 LED swaps, spring swaps and a couple of other keycap sets.

Tell me if I missed anything. It was pretty easy to build, though I did have prior experience with soldering. I also put a layer of felt at the bottom of the case for some minor noise management.

Building a kit is usually very straightforward as there’s a lot of resources online on how to assemble stabs and solder switches, and using a kit means you don’t have to worry about part compatibility.

I do, however, have issues with the screws that are clearly cheapo screws that can’t handle repeated disassembly-reassembly so I had to toss a few away already. I still need replacement screws as I think only or 3 are holding the damn thing together at this point. But they weren’t made to go through everythign I put this poor board though so there’s that. xD

I just grabbed them off Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Keycaps-Doubleshot-Switches-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B077Q75JZ4?th=1) on impulse to try them out as I was getting tired of the Deck font. They seem quite decent for $30. The default LED brightness on the Hassium is a bit much and shines through the white keys pretty bad, but I just modified my default LED script to tone things down a bit.

It’s a standard layout, so any mx keycap set would work great

I bought this one on Amazon
