These keycaps’ price to quality ratio is almost unbelievable. For just $30 USD you get thick PBT and dye-subbed legends. I was skeptical when I saw the price, but ordered them out of curiosity. I was so pleasantly surprised. They look and feel amazing in person. I plan to eventually buy every colorway of them because they’re just that good.
The board I have them on is a GH60 PCB with an aluminum plate in a plastic case with shelf liner and unlubed Gateron Yellows.

I’m using these cheap PBT caps from Amazon, and they’re surprisingly solid for 30 bucks, though the set only includes ANSI standard caps for 60%/TKL (so no numpad keys, no 1.75u right shift for 65%).

There’s so many options it’s hard to make a recommendation without knowing more about what you want. These are pretty good.
·
1.5mm thickness, comparable to gmk. (quality is a different world but best budget options in my opinion)
·
1.5mm wall thickness
however with Gmk, epbt, whatever you have hype, limited quality, and ppl who are willing to pay which drives prices really high on r/mechmarket.
the keycaps linked have a couple of things compared to other sets. The white isn’t too strong and looks brown compared side by side to epbt or gmk. The legends won’t be that crisp and you have have some warping/general qc issues.
·
Used some cheap alternative gmk keycaps from amazon. I’ve always liked the cherry profile better than oem so they were perfect.

It took a while to complete being very tedious with soldering, but nothing too complicated. I followed this guide by u/Cribbit for handwiring, and used KBFirmware to program the keyboard.

I know what you mean though, just went through this process, ended up Frankensteining two of those ePBT sets to get what I wanted. Used to use a couple of these Amazon sets before that and had to settle with an abs right shift for a bit. Abs is easier to work with and easier to look pretty, and pretty is always gonna sell, demand and supply

You could get the Asceny One for $50 and then spend your remaining $30 on these keycaps. Not all white, but a really nice look, then save up for a cheap custom cable or some artisans.
Hope this helps
