My nightly routine:
- 1 hr before bed, take 300mcg melatonin and 400mg magnesium glycinate, and put on these blue-blocking glasses.
- Read in bed on my tablet for an hour. Sometimes fiction, sometimes reddit.
I often struggle to read for the full hour. The combination of supplements and the glasses usually has me nodding off at the 30- or 45-minute mark.

This used to be my everyday. A keto diet really made a huge difference. I did it for 3 months and my migraines never came back. I still get some pain in my eyes from TMJ after eating a burger or something chewy. I had excruciating migraines with auras, fog, and numbness. Avoiding screens and artificial light as much as possible helps. There are also glasses that filter blue light filtering glasses. I tried gunnar glasses and various ones from Amazon. While those look better and like normal glasses the only ones I’ve found that actually help are these.
