I tried Gateron Blue, Brown, and then Zealio v2 67g. The closest thing I can describe the tactile bump feel like is clicking on a retractable pen.

Before you make the jump, I suggest you to get a switch tester. Link (it has Zealio 67g as well):

Not sure who recommended ZealPC, they’re really expensive and don’t come in prebuilt boards, they’re amazing switches, just not exactly casual friendly. To more answer your question though, gateron in general is going to be slightly higher quality in feel and sound than cherry equivalents, this is especially true with their brown and linear switches, if you’re not sure what switch to buy, I’d say go on amazon and look for a switch tester like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PDCK34P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7sgdFbZK3CBNY
they won’t be exactly the same feel in a keyboard but they’re great for deciding linear vs tactile vs clicky. I personally like linear for gaming (mostly OSU!) and tactile for typing and just switch out keebs, but it’s very difficult to get a feel for a switch or a group of switches without trying them first. Hope this helps man! And once you’ve found your switch, I recommend using Mechanicalkeyboards.com to look for options.

OMG, me too! I ordered this from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PDCK34P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and it convinced me to switch from Gateron Brown.

I haven’t used the yellows yet so I cannot speak for them but Reds are pretty good even stock. This is the key benefit of having a hot-swap, don’t like your switches buy more to try/use. You could order a switch tester off amazon for 20 bucks that comes with several different switches including expensive zealios switches and you could make your decision after messing with those https://www.amazon.com/Griarrac-Gateron-Mechanical-Keyboards-Testing/dp/B07PDCK34P/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=mechanical+switch+tester&qid=1585765336&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyNUc4STdHNzRPNEI2JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjUyNzQ0MkVWQjVLSkNFS0oxViZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjMzNDkyMlMwWlBJRTNOWlYzNiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=I should be able to talk about the yellows by this weekend. I want to say they are due on Saturday. But I have enjoyed my reds. Are you a heavy typer?
