What is the opinion of Reddit about the

Hdmi only supports some combos of resolution and refresh rate, I just looked it up on Wikipedia. Possibly might not support.

For the KVM switch its just some generic brand, something like this, none of those ConnectPRO or Level1Tech one’s. For my current monitor, it definitely does not have a scaler, i tried setting my resolution higher than supported and the screen blanked out immediately, also I’m just going to be buying a 1440p display soon that’s why I making sure everything works beforehand or at least get some knowledge so that i can make an informed decision. For the time being i have a 1600×900 monitor. For the EDID emulator i was looking at this.
