hey! i could be wrong but i believe he uses the Focusrite SCARLETT Studio Pack w/CM25 Microphone, Headphones, 2i2, Code for Software Bundle Mic Cable, Boom Stand, and Pop Filter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CLFWLHC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_UE9UFbAX6JCDQ

Get the Scarlet 2i2 Bundle
It’s got everything you’ll need to get started, including a DAW. And that’s a very reasonable price, too, coming from a fellow college kid.

Thanks, it feels like by adding these items, the wiring is weird, so right now the push is USB to my MacBook Pro and I wear headphones.
But adding the extra launch pad and launch xl, where do they all plug into? Get a USB HUB? What about if I add in a FocusRite Scarlett (http://www.amazon.com/Focusrite-SCARLETT-Studio-Pack-Microphone/dp/B00CLFWLHC/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445824105&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=focusright+scarlett+2i2) so I can have headphones and monitors plugged in? Is there a resource for learning about wiring everything efficiently?
