Thanks for the reply! I’ll definitely want the kind of volume control provided by the Schiit, but it actually just dawned on me that I’d bought a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 Audio Interface a couple years ago that didn’t really get put to use; could this be used in lieu of the SCH-13?

Thanks for the advice! I actually discovered I have an audio interface I’d bought years ago and never really used, a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24, could this work? Would it be any better or worse?

Thanks for replying.

Forgive me for asking the obvious question as there’s no doubt a good answer, but why does the saffire 24 only have 4 outputs? It’s listed as 8, and I don’t know the difference between them. From the rear panel it looks like at least 6 of them are the same?

Interesting about the line level, I had no idea. So the pedals would be super sensitive compared to the audio that the DAW channels produce?

Hey guys and gals,

First off, this is my current setup:

I have a Korg-SV1, Moog Sub 37, Maschine 2, a midi controller (and a Marshall guitar amplifier and a condenser mic not shown in the picture). I mainly use Ableton Live.

As you can see, I don’t have a audio interface yet or monitors, and I am looking to buy both. I do a lot of composing, election music and melodic pop. I now want to start recording, mixing and mastering.

This is the stuff I’ve been looking at:

Any suggestions?
