I have never understood mechanical keyboards, but I decided to buy one with my new gaming pc. I was not blown away until I switched back to my membrane board, I finally get it. I really really liked the look and feel of this ‘retro’ keyboard from amazon, but I ended up returning it for its lack of macro keys despite the product description. I really love the idea of a sleeper mechanical keyboard that looks like an old model m, but comes with modern features like rgb backlighting and dedicated macro keys. I did a little looking but couldn’t find anything else like that on amazon. Does anyone know where I can find a retro mechanical keyboard with rgb, macros, and a full numpad?

>s, finding clickies annoying, especially if I’m not the one using them. There are a lot of decent prebuilt options under $120. You first need to pick a layout. Do you use the numpad or nav cluster?

Yes, I use the numpad for typing IP addresses mostly and the nav cluster mostly for the print screen button. I’d rather just go with the “regular” keyboard vs something more condensed as portability is not really a concern, I’d rather have the full 104 US Post windows keyboard so that I don’t have to spend any time learning my way around the keys. You make some great points, where were you 5 minutes after I posted when I decided on this keyboard :D. But at just $80, and for how retro cool it looks, I couldn’t resist! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QYRS1WC/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o00\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ajazz AK510 – MX blues.

Has an RGB, but I like having it off during the day and it’s perfectly legible without it.

La mayoría de teclados mecánicos que venden en Chile son gamers, si quieres algo que se vea profesional vas a tener que traerlo de afuera. Como este por ejemplo.

Does anyone know if there exists any retro colored pre-built keyboard models that have a white backlight? Something like the Ajazz AK510 Retro but with white backlight instead of RGB. I am trying to buy my first mechanical keyboard and I don’t have any interest in building my own, but since I haven’t found anything like what I’m looking for so far, I am considering buying a white keyboard with white backlight and then changing the keycaps for a backlit retro set (something like this). Does anyone know if such a model exists or should I just modify a white backlit keyboard?

I started gaming in the 2000s, but we had an old PC like that with that same keyboard. because of that, I spent $80 on a “retro” keyboard so I could feel the nostalgia again!

Here’s a link if anyone wants to see this BEAUTY.

Sweet, I’m really digging the first one. Looks very similar to what I was contemplating on buying on Amazon, but I just couldn’t pull the trigger without doing a little more digging as I figured the Amazon one is likely more flash than function.
