Hello!
I have a Filco Ninja that’s got cherry blacks and I dampened the keys with rubber rings. It’s awesome. I want to get into my first custom keeb and was wondering if anyone knows if I can remove these from this keyboard and use them in another one (are they swappable)? If not, are cherry blacks hard to get?

It can still be loud, but if you practice not bottoming out the keys, it’s about as quiet as normal keyboards and still good-feeling to use.

What’s your budget? Leopold, Filco, and Ducky make some good TKL with
Filco – black, "blank" keycaps, Black, "normal" keycaps, and white
Leopold – white. There is a black model, but it appears out of stock (both Leopold and Filco are Asian companies I believe, so not the easiest to get)
Ducky – White. There is a black for this, but out of stock as well. Ducky is a Taiwanese company, so have to find somewhere to get them.
I bought my Filco Majestouch-2 Ninja from Amazon, they seem to still have a few in stock, if you’re a Prime member.

It doesn’t have to be used. Look for a filco on Amazon. I picked one up for work (hhp2 at home) and don’t regret it. You can get blank caps too I believe.
