I might have been thinking of the wrong SK61. The manufacturer for the GK61 had several distributers. One of them, the one that really is meant for the American market is Epomaker. They sell the GK61 as the SK61 (and as a GK61, but you might get a GK61 that isn’t through them).
The Epomaker https://www.amazon.com/EPOMAKER-SKYLOONG-Swappable-Mechanical-Waterproof/dp/B088FKFL6J It works with Gateron Optical switches.
It gets kind of confusing. But the end point would be that I wasn’t talking about any SK61 that isn’t that one.
Now looking back at the GK61 offering. There is mechanical one as well. I thought that one was dead. But you might want to think about that one. The optical ones can only ever use Gateron Optical switches. Where there is only so much of them. Whereas if you get the mechanical one, the world is your oyster.

Here’s the keyboard model. There’s a bunch of company names selling the same keyboard. All the keys are the same shape on this one, so I could swap them around no issue.
