I have a digital keyboard (piano) with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
I try to wear headphones when I practice (so as not to annoy family), but my ears get really hot really fast.
I’m looking for something (not necessarily headphones) that I can plug into my keyboard, but will broadcast the sound as locally as possible.
I thought about a blue tooth “neck speaker” but there is a delay on blue tooth which would make practicing piano difficult.
Budget: under $300 USD (preferably less, but if I can find something that works well, I’m willing to spend $.
Source – 3.5 mm jack, I believe (same plug as w/ android phone).
Requirements for Isolation – I don’t care about isolation. I don’t even really care so much about quality as long as the sound is as local as possible.
Preferred Type of Headphone – preferably something “off the ear” but still keeping sound local.
Preferred tonal balance – no preference
Past headphones – I currently use this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G2W4MD5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which has a very durable cord, but my ears get hot fast.
Preferred Music – it’s me playing piano.
