What is the opinion of Reddit about the
East Brooklyn Labs Bluetooth Adapter and Amplifier for Audio-Technica ATH M40x Professional Headphones from Wired to Wireless?

I love the M40X. It’s tuned super flat but I messed around with EqualizerAPO and I set it perfect for my taste. This is an option you can choose on the Amazon page for the M40X if you want to go wireless. I kind of want to get it but it looks weird on the headset.

So most likely just wear / stretch it out a little bit so everything can get comfortable for the head,

Also I was considering because I want to be able to go wireless, would a Bluetooth adapter be good for it with a Bluetooth dongle for the PC?

Ordered a pair of ATH-M40X from Amazon last night and saw there was a bluetooth adapter available for them. Any body have any experience with these? Do they have a noticeable impact on the sound quality?

While I appreciate the convenience of wireless, I don’t want a significant detriment to the sound.

If I can be honest, I have shit tons of time to waste, it’s summer and I have no friends 😀 I get lonely pretty fast, and frankly sending messages to people on Reddit gives me that much needed social interaction 🙂

If you want me to be honest, I don’t think there are any great sounding headsets that fit your criteria. We can get a great set of wired headsets by buying audiophile headphones and using a Vmoda BoomPro or Antlion Modmic. I’ve heard plenty of headsets in my time, whether it be HyperX’s line, the Astros, the majority of the Logitechs, and the couple of Corsair headsets. They all sound pretty mediocre, particularly the wireless ones. The HyperX Cloud 2 is the exception, though it has sibilance (harsh s sound that hurts your ears, if that makes sense) but that can be modded out. I know because I come from a fairly wealthy family and several of my cousins have WAY to much money to spend on headphones, yet they’re clueless as to what sounds good 😀

So basically, what you’re asking for “A true ‘headset'” using audiophile components is very, very difficult to achieve. I’ve been thinking for the past 5 or so minutes as to how to get a microphone….I suppose if you could find a bluetooth mic that clips onto your headphones, that would work for that. Essentially, wanting both a wireless mic and wireless headset using separate components is a pain in the ass, but if you make it work you get audiophile sound AND more importantly, audiophile comfort. I bought this a couple a years ago and they still work fine, battery still hold charge for a couple pair of hours. bluetooth

I am sorry I have not owned any of those products except the wired void pro so my opinion is not worth as much. IMO the arctic 7 is the better of 3 just because they have good reviews on youtube and review sites. Their frequency response also is not that bad but I would still wager a good wired headphone will easily outclass them. I also found this wireless adapter for the ath m40x so that an option too but look att reviews
