I have a Leopold FC750R PD, and it’s definitely a good keyboard, but I also have a Durgod Taurus K320 TKL, and I think it’s every bit as nice. The Durgod can be ordered with Cherry MX Blue switches, it has a USB-C connector (unlike the Leopold), and it comes with double-shot PBT keycaps (like the Leopold). But the best thing about the Durgod is that you can order it directly from Amazon. I just checked, and the “space gray” model with Cherry MX Blue switches is currently in stock — if you have Prime, you could probably get it in a day or two. Check it out. It really is a great keyboard!

Edit: Oh yeah, here’s a link.

any wired keyboard will work for gaming really. i guess stick to linears, reds/black/silvers/yellows/etcidkwhatelse.

personally i use a durgod k320 (comes w no backlighting option) with gateron silent yellows but i de/soldered and put the switches in myself. i think that board has a good variety of switches to choose from. compared to ones that just have red/brown/blue variants anyway

edit: oops you said you’re not a fan of linear switches. sorry. gateron browns are smooth tactile that comes with prebuilts.

For anyone looking for an alternative, I recently bought a Durgod keyboard from Amazon and absolutely love it. Brown switches for me.

I’ve heard good things about Durgod keyboards, especially regarding the stabs they come with, which they lube. That will contribute the most towards a smooth, rattle-free typing experience. And of course, the choice of switch will affect things a lot. I myself prefer Gateron and Kailh switches over Cherry MX.

By the way, you can change the delay of the tap function in the Obinslab software, if you feel the tap is too sensitive, or not sensitive enough.

Would anyone recommend a Durgod?

I’m sending my current daily driver back to the Amazon seller for a replacement because the “A” key is being finicky so I saw the excuse to purchase a placeholder because I’m horribly irresponsible and it’s Cyber Monday.

This Durgod will be on sale tomorrow but I’ve also been checking out a Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro S RGB.

I am looking at buying a new board, but I want to make sure that I am getting a good deal, but also getting quality. Usually when I buy a mechanical keyboard I just bought from the “gaming” brands, but I wanted to go with a different approach this time.

Here are the 2 keyboards I have been looking at getting:

  1. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078HFTTYK (Durgod Taurus K320 TKL)
  2. https://www.amazon.com/Filco-Majestouch-2-Tenkeyless-FKBN87M-EB2/dp/B004WOF7QM (Filco Majestouch 2 TKL)

I would go with a 60% board but I need my function keys and my arrows. Which of those boards is a more quality board for what I am paying?

I’ll save you a lot of money here: https://www.amazon.com/DURGOD-Mechanical-Keyboard-Interface-Anti-Ghosting/dp/B078HFTTYK

I’m typing on the white one right now. Incredible board for the price.
