I mean it has an Fn key which turns the numerical row into their equivalent function keys, if that makes your feel any better. But I think you’re missing some context here, maybe check out r/mechanicalkeyboards . What I bought is a Drop Alt (it’s cheaper directly from Drop’s website). But best keyboard I’ve ever owned by a mile. I use it with Windows and I rarely need F keys but then for my MacBook I obviously don’t have them and it’s never been an issue.

Out of your stated budget, integrated plate, only accepts plate mount switches and stabs, that one is low profile so you would need to love seeing your switches, history of PCB issues.
