I am building my fiancée a numpad! I know, best dude ever, right? I’d like a keyset that we can put on her main keyboard and numpad. She has my drevo gramr which is 84 keys where the right modifiers are all 1u and the home/end/etc. keys go down the right side. She’d like a keyset with better legends than the edgy gamer font, shine through optional (she never uses the backlight), arrows, and a numpad. Ultra mega bonus points if it has the Fkey/media keys the same as a mac keyboard. I’m gonna soft remap them to alway hit the media keys but having the F keys on there would be nice too.
budget is whatever. 200 let’s say? key caps are dumb expensive and this is a birthday thing.
if anyone knows where we can try switches in NYC rather than waiting for the tester to come in, lemme know.

I currently have cheapo DSA blanks on my let’s split. I’ve recently gotten a lot of pain in my right forearm which I think has to do with reaching with my pinky too much. I will definitely try to angle the boards more but is there a cheap blank set out there with some kind of varied row profile I could try? I could pull the caps off of this guy but then everything would be wrong.
