not sure what you consider affordable or what you want from your space heater, but i bought a $60 vornado from home depot for use at my parent’s house that works well and is pretty quiet.

i have this one at my place, it’s a little more pricey at ~$95, which is capable of heating my entire ~900 sq ft apartment. Amazon is still shipping things quickly
