Getting a pelvic floor donut pillow for the car ride helped me!
Quick example, there are cheaper options available though:

A lot of my pain comes from sitting when I have hemorrhoids, so I got a donut pillow to help with that. It sounds like you’re doing what you can, but really don’t cheat and keep doing enemas if you’re doctor advised you to stop.

I’ve tried these before, also look up coccyx pillow and consider sitting backwards on it. https://www.amazon.com/Donut-Pillow-Hemorrhoid-Tailbone-Cushion/dp/B07RGVPR8D/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=postpartum+seat+cushion&qid=1619442102&sprefix=postpartum+seat&sr=8-4
Also you could maybe just cut up any foam cushion.
Finally have you done the string around the waist trick? Probably but just thought I’d mention – it helps me position things well when gravity and my thighs aren’t cooperating

I figure this might last awhile, I guess I was trying to figure out what it was to find the best remedy. I will talk to him at my next appointment in three weeks.
Pain happens after standing up for 15 minutes or longer. Yesterday I sat in a kitchen chair without my cushion and I felt incredible pain as soon as I got up. Even now sitting in bed, I was sitting wrong and could feel pain. Is there anything else I could do to make sure the weakness in my legs is not related to spinal cord or nerves?
I guess I am worrying it could be something serious like cancer, silly I know.
