Lua Macros is probably your best bet. You’ll have to learn the language and write your own code and essentially remap an few keys.
Or buy a new keyboard.
Dell Wired Keyboard – Black KB216 (580-ADMT) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZYLMQH0/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_AN9KEGD6X83102ARCC64

Currently typing my answer from this Dell keyboard, it’s only $13 with Prime shipping and has been excellent for me at the office.

Also if what I think what you are looking for is keys like the one on your laptop, this Dell Wired Keyboard KB216 (580-ADMT) ://www.amazon.com/Dell-Wired-Keyboard-KB216-580-ADMT/dp/B00ZYLMQH0/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1506428441&sr=8-15&keywords=keyboard (Not a gaming kleyboard, but a keyboard that I imagine you would be looking for that resembles your laptop keys since these are flat and not bulky.)

This looks like something you’d want to check out. If it’s not, you’ll find a bunch more options searching “black wired chiclet keyboard” on Amazon.
·
Generic Dell OEM board that came with my work PC, you can buy em on Amazon, they aren’t bad for a membrane board, though I tend to prefer the old Dell QuietKey when it comes to non-mech boards

https://www.amazon.ca/DELL-Wired-Keyboard-KB216-Black/dp/B00ZYLMQH0 it looks like that

we have the same preferences, I think, and this is my keyboard. There’s also a lot more of what you’re looking for if you filter to "slim" keyboards on pcpartpicker. There’s even a few left if you filter out non-backlit ones. 🙂

Thanks! Quite the upgrade from mine
I’m looking forward to it arriving.

Yes, keycaps like that or like this https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Wired-Keyboard-Black-580-ADMT/dp/B00ZYLMQH0 (this one is not mechanical)
·
Incase you didn’t get one already, been using this for 4+ years in office and home. Will be smooth as a breeze – https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00ZYLMQH0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IEkwFb2TGYCNJ

I don’t understand your requirements for wanting a smooth keyboard? But for something slim and durable https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Wired-Keyboard-Black-580-ADMT/dp/B00ZYLMQH0/ A basic Dell keyboard will hold up well for a long time.
Ergonomic is kind of a buzzword that seems to constantly change. Maybe a simple https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Full-Size-Ergonomic-Wireless-Scrolling/dp/B078HFRNSP/ that fits better for people that are right handed?
https://www.amazon.com/VicTsing-Keyboard-Superfine-Support-Computer/dp/B07H3P49NH/
I’d recommend this though regardless of your keyboard and mouse since it forces your wrists in a better position over the mouse and keyboard.

it types so its pretty good
But seriously, I have a cherry blue Coolermaster Quickfire XT I got it in 2014 cus I wanted a mechanical keyboard that looked normal as opposed to those Chinese knock off razer ones. I got it for like $120 AUD back then, but its under 100usd if thats where you are.
I did find it handy to reverse the space bar, since the edge on the front of it would make my finger sore from prolonged periods, when reversed it angles towards you and feels really nice.
·
hah fair enough, I think it’s this one
