Same here, only thing I was able to find after reading this post that fits my needs perfectly was the Das Keyboard 4 at $149.99 USD

So until my K70 gives out I’m honestly not even gonna think about getting it.

I bought my first MK last year, a Das 4 Pro (this exact model) and I’m wanting to buy a set of caps for aesthetic purposes.

Will anything listed as 104-key with Cherry profile work? Or is there more info I need? And, any recommendations?

USA Amazon. Yes, there are but they are sold by Tiger Imports and they dont ship to Mexico.
Usually there its shipping to Mexico when its sold by Amazon directly. Like this one that maybe i will end up getting. You can see it says “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. Gift-wrap available”

Thank you anyway :).

I’m looking for a keyboard that is professional-looking and quiet and has macro buttons on the left side. Right now im looking at the Das 4 professional, but I just wish it had macro buttons on the side. DOes anyone know of a keyboard like that?

I have just purchased a brand new keeb myself. My previous keyboard is a fully functional, with no issues daskeyboard: DASK4MKPROSIL.

If you live in the US, and you don’t mind doing minor cleanup on it under the caps, I’ll send it to you, no charge. Send me a PM if interested.

That sucks. I got mine for about $190 in december. Considering my issues I’m probably going to return it and get this. I’m gonna miss the k95, but having to unplug it 20 times a day just to get it to type while still having annoying random flashing colors is just not worth it.

Just for your information, vortex is a distributor for KBC (the actual brand of keyboard).

I cannot for the life of me find a Shine 3 in stock anywhere, they were wildly popular and are gone pretty much everywhere at this point. Out of the keyboards you listed, the best one really comes down to YOUR needs. If you want a 60%, go with the Pok3r, but if you need backlighting, the Mini will be a good choice. If you want a sleek, well-built TKL go with the Majestouch. If you wanna go with a fullsize board, the Das is your option (or a Rosewill board if you want to keep costs low).

Assuming you’re referring to the Pok3r, you can find it with MX Browns here.

edit: this shop sells a bunch of Filcos, however they are Europe-based so shipping might be slightly outlandish.

edit^2: you can find the Ducky Mini (silver case) with MX Browns here

edit^3: here is an Amazon link to the Das with Browns

edit^4: you can find a Ducky Shine 5 with MX Browns here (basically just a newer version of the Shine 3)

All of these keyboards are around 11-15K on amazon, including shipping and customs, And i would like to point out that Mechancial keyboards are repairable and very flexible, You can buy Parts for Dirt cheap.

I wont bother with warranty when it comes to mechas, If anything by chance goes bad, you can easily buy replacement parts in India from aliexpress.com ( no customs/shipping or any other issues at all, a lot of people shop from there) besides amazon has a 30 day money back guarantee.

also that is a real Premium keyboard, if you buy the Das you can customize the keycaps, leds, switch everything/ 🙂

I recommend just picking up something with Cherry MX Brown key-switches (or equivalent). That way you get a little bit of physical key-press feedback but a lot less of the “clackity-clack” noises. Unless you’re into that, I guess…

This is how I roll, but it’s admittedly pricey (at least in a relative sense compared to typical blah everyday keyboards). This got me through several hundred pages of crap that I produced for my Bachelor’s degree.

I think this is a decent option as well and not as pricey. I’ve got a Ducky Shine 3 and I like it but I really like the media buttons and volume wheel on the Das Keeb.

There are MK fanatics that probably have a hundred things to say about either of those choices but I tend to lean toward simple practicality rather than niche arguments. Just my anecdotal/personal experience, here!

Hey all, I’m due for an upgrade from my brown switch CM Storm Quickire Pro. Right now, I’m trying to decide between Das Keyboard 4 and Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja.

The USB hub on the Das keyboard would be nice, but not super necessary. I also don’t really listen to music much so the media controls on the Das aren’t important to me. I doubt I’ll change out the keycaps unless they’re truly awful or they wear out or something. I’ll mostly be typing on it, but I still do quite a bit of gaming as well.

At this point would the difference mostly be aesthetic, or are there other factors at play that don’t quite fit on a spec sheet? I’d really appreciate any help here, thanks!

The only keyboard that I remember now with a volume knob is the Das Keyboard 4 Professional or maybe get a keyboard that suit your need and get this multimedia knob

If noise is a problem, do not get blues. I would suggest browns. As far as keyboards, please take a good look at the Das Keyboard Pro 4. It is the best keyboard I have typed on so far. If you want cheaper, the CM Quickfire Rapid and CM Quickfire XT are good choices as well.

I’m probably going to get the Das Keyboard 4: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JG01QTY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

From what I can tell, brown switches would be the best.

If Budget is not a concern you can go for a Das Keyboard (That is if you’re looking for Media Controls and a knob)
https://www.amazon.ca/Das-Keyboard-Professional-Mechanical-DASK4MKPROSIL/dp/B00JG01QTY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1544471462&sr=8-3&keywords=das+keyboard

If you want the RGB effects a ducky keyboard should do:
https://www.amazon.ca/Ducky-SHINE-Cherry-Switch-Linux/dp/B072PSNQ5K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1544471488&sr=8-2&keywords=ducky

If you’re looking for Macros, I believe some companies like iKBC and Ducky allow you to set any key to any other key with their software, but I’m not 100% about this

I don’t know what your budget is, but I would highly recommend a Das 4. Here’s a link to buy on Amazon.
