Thank you for the recommendations, I will make sure to be cautious with it. On the package it just says take 2 daily for a daily total of 20 mcg, doesn’t say for how long though, it’s a 30 day supply at the recommended dose. Might they use a much higher dose when trying to raise levels quickly? Here is a link to the actual product. I know that my current vitamin D levels are 13 ng/ml, I will make sure to get tested again soon after starting. I will try asking around on medical forums and such to see if I can find any more information on this.

Here’s an alternative to Vitamin D3, it’s called Calcifediol. Vitamin D3 is activated in the liver and turned into Calcifediol.

Causes me anxiety too, and I tried doses of K2 MK7, both small (50% and large 800% doses) as well as small and mega-doses of Magnesium in many different forms (Glycinate, Oxidate, Citrate, Therionate, Malate)… Nothing fixes the KILLER anxiety and even anger that Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) causes me.

Then I found Calcifediol. This stuff is one step closer to calcitriol, the usable form of D3 in the body. Calcifediol does not need Magnesium and bypasses the conversion in the liver completely.

It’s also 3.2x (per study) more absorbable and usable by the body. Additionally it’s prescribed to patients with Covid-19 as a more rapid way to increase hydroxy D3 levels.

There’s unfortunately only one known source I can find, but IT WORKS. ZERO anxiety regardless of my K2 or Mag status. Loving it.

Same here, ANY amount of D3 cholecalciferol makes me incredibly anxious the next day. If I go a high dose like 5,000 IU, I’ll be RAGING angry and want to punch a hole in the wall. The last time I tried it I had to go out into the woods, and was screaming. I’ve literally tried this 10 times over the last 8 years, and every time, it’s the same reaction.

I’ve also taken it with lots of all kinds of Magnesium. It’s not that.

If you read Amazon reviews, You’ll find we’re not alone. More and more people are reporting this response.

Fortunately, Vitamin D2 works great for me. I can take up to 50,000 IU’s all at once, and not a single mood issue.

I am going to try D3 Calcifediol next which is the form that Cholecalciferol is converted into by the liver in the human body. Perhaps skipping that conversion will work. I’ve ordered it today and will try it in a couple days. You can get Calcifediol from here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0977NKG98
