I bought this set a few years ago, I really like it. There are slightly smaller sets that come in at your price point or lower is the additional $33 for this one is an issue

I started out with this Cuisinart Chef’s Classic stainless set. I have had them at least a decade and they’ve held up very well, for the price. Everything goes in the dishwasher; all the pots go into an oven up to 500 degrees. There are lots of add-on pieces if she needs specialized tools. They don’t have the “brand name” of All-Clad, but as someone who cooks a lot himself and has gifted this set on a couple of different occasions, I can say these are a great buy.
