Why not just use the supplement? I buy this off Amazon, and that’s $10 for 80 servings, that’s like <$0.13/day? You probably don’t need it if you eat a lot of red meat but personally, I don’t eat a ton of red meat (maybe like, ~1 lb of beef/week).

I took creatine immediately after my concussion daily for about two months. It tastes awful, I put it in banana shakes. The worst of my symptoms lasted about two months. I had to drop out of school. It’s been 6 months since my concussion and my vision and migraines are not great. I have a full-time job but have had to take sick leave three times in the last two weeks, and I just couldn’t work today. Studies show creatine helps but it’s impossible to tell on an individual level. If I have a banana shake, I add it.
Writing this, I’m sitting besides a narrow band green light bulb (good for migraines) drinking a tang-like mixture of herbs that supposedly help migraines, wearing a ridiculous looking cold cap.
If there’s any concussion supplement I regularly take, it’s BCAA’s in powder form mixed with additional electrolytes. Mostly because it’s summer, it’s hot, it’s easy to make.
