Nope. As someone who suffers from sleep issues…..I have calm. We pay $60 a year, and I have finally found sleep (well, to some extent)……
Studies have shown that binaural beats and music in the 1-4 hertz range promote deep restorative sleep, and sounds in the 4-8 hertz has been linked to REM sleep, as well as a reduction in anxiety. They have stories and music as well as MANY different people who read the stories (Abbie opher and the French whisperer are my favorite).

Bring brand new super-cheap activities/toys. My daughter has flown with me many times and other than food, the guaranteed way to keep her occupied is to change activities every half hour. I go to CVS and buy super-cheap things like a vinyl sticker book and those hand-held water ring games. She’s more interested in something for a longer period of time if it’s something brand new, so if your kid is like that I’d recommend doing that.
We also bring some standards: her favorite stuffed animal, her blankie, and a couple of pacifiers (which we’re cutting out at 2 years… but for now it’s what we do). I also swear by Water Wow coloring books. They use water to “color” and can be reused indefinitely.
Also, most planes nowadays have TVs so we have a pair of these headphones for her to watch a movie. We also will bust out the tablet to watch one of her favorite movies.
Another trick worth mentioning is the Cares harness, which is the only FAA approved child harness that can be used on a plane that isn’t a car seat. I find it much easier for me (no lugging a huge carseat on a plane!) and for my daughter (because she loathes her car seat). You can buy it on Amazon.
