Zinc is awesome. Also this Centella Blemish cream from COSRX on Amazon Prime works wonders on redness (it’s mostly zinc!)

That look like inflamed acne, does it itch a bit?
I used to have that and honestly anything Centella is pretty good to soothe it.

I’ve been using it for over a year and my acne got better in about 2 months. Just slap a thick layer of it on just the affected area and go to sleep.

For immediate course of action: remind yourself to not touch them, can try icing it to help reduce the inflammation (maybe 2x a day 15 min), don’t go HAM with the spot treatment (it will just make it angry). The only spot treatment I know use is COSRX Centella Blemish Cream. It’s really good at getting inflammation down.
If you start to get more frequent acne I would start keeping some sort of log documenting your skin flareups. I started to get acne about 6 months after switching to an IUD. But, generally people on the pill see a reduction in acne, so this current flare up could be completely unrelated. AND if you are getting more frequent acne, please don’t be like me and punish your face with tons of acids and fear of moisturizer! Tons of moisturizer and gentle exfoliation is your friend.
